music research and planning

When looking for a specific piece of music for our soap trailer we came across several problems that left us unable to use the music. some of the troubles we came across were.
- unable to download the piece of music due to website being perhaps, unsafe for the schools system.
- the biggest problem we faced was the copyrite, which didnt allow us to use it. therefore we had to continue looking on several different websites untill we found, websites that were non-copyrited.

Websites we used were as follows;
- www.PacDv.com
- www.Freeplaymusic.com
- www.soundcloud.com

The website which we used was www.PacDv.com, and we found a piece of music that i felt suited our soap and target audience perfectly. The music is called 'New Day'.  As our target audience  is16-24, our music  invokes a fresh, and young vibe, similar to Hollyoaks, which also has a younger target audience.

Characters within the soap

Within our soap trailer we intended on creating several different steriotypes. Different ages, genders and hopefully cultural diversity. here are some of the few characters we have invoved within our soap trailer.

 - Liam dawsom (car driver) main character, aged 18

- Thomas Jenner (Man standing outside local shop) contains transition to separate life, aged 19

- Kieran Dale ( young man standing next to the road) who has difficulties in and out of school feeling as if he is different purely down to his ethnic background, aged 17

- Malcolm irons (elderly man) siting alone at home, we wanted to create a reaction of empathy for him, aged 75

Sarah Milthrop - (young attractive female) works behind the local bar. aged 21
